He studied in Minneapolis, MN at IPR, The Institute of Production & Recording, receiving a thorough education in audio production, engineering, composition, scoring, and music business while also obtaining an Operator Certification in Pro Tools HD software. In 2016 he founded Harmonyx Audio based in his home recording studio,
